Who we are

RIAConsult Ltd (“RIAConsult”, “we”) is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England & Wales, company number 09083347. You can contact us about privacy at info@riaconsult.co.uk.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry

The contact form collects your name, email address and message, and optionally your organisation and telephone number, together with the type of enquiry you select. Please do not include patient, service-user, employee or other sensitive personal information in your message.

When you visit the website

Like any website, our servers and hosting provider process technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages and keep the site secure. To protect the enquiry form from abuse, we briefly hold the IP address of anyone who submits it, for up to ten minutes, to limit repeated submissions.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. See our cookies page.

How and why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps you ask for before entering into a contract. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, or steps prior to a contract.
• To keep the website secure and prevent misuse of the enquiry form. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.

We do not use enquiry details for marketing, and we do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

• Resend, our email delivery provider, which sends enquiry form submissions to our mailboxes. Resend is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer of personal information outside the UK, made with appropriate safeguards.
• Our website hosting provider, which processes technical information to serve the website.
• Our email service provider, which hosts the mailboxes where enquiries are received.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only for as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any relationship that follows. If no relationship follows, we delete enquiries within 24 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal information, and to ask us to correct, erase or restrict it. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and in some cases ask for your information to be transferred. To make a request, email info@riaconsult.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the way we handle personal information changes.
